Are you a qualified accountant with experience in the construction sector? Are you looking for a progressive opportunity from FC to FD in the next few years?
Transparent is delighted to partner with this highly successful and forward-thinking business in the recruitment of a Financial Controller to join their friendly and supportive team.
Reporting into the Finance Director, this role would draw on your commercial accounting experience as well as your team management skills.
Main duties will include:
- Providing timely monthly MI and annual financial statements
- Full consolidation of the group financials
- Full ownership of month-end close as well as management of the production of annual budgets and forecasts
- Supervising and managing the Accounts Team to include PL, AR, and payroll
- Producing monthly CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation) data
- Producing overhead forecast and analysis
- Completing CIS returns
- Ownership of the monthly accounting process
- Supporting the Finance Director on various projects in a business partner capacity
The Person:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Previous construction experience/CIS knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communicator
- Ambitious and self-motivated
